Caravan Restaurant

Silk Road themed dining with international and local dishes.

Caravan Restaurant pays homage to Bukhara's rich history as a major stop along the ancient Silk Road trade routes. The restaurant's theme celebrates the cultural exchange and culinary
fusion that occurred as merchants and travelers from different regions shared their foods and cooking techniques. The interior design features maps, artifacts, and decorative elements that tell the story of the Silk Road, creating an educational and entertaining dining environment.

The menu at Caravan reflects this historical theme by offering a diverse selection of dishes that represent the various cultures that passed through Bukhara over the centuries, all adapted to meet halal dietary requirements. In addition to traditional Uzbek specialties, the menu includes halal versions of dishes inspired by Persian, Turkish, Chinese, and Indian cuisines, showcasing how the Silk Road facilitated culinary exchange. The restaurant is particularly known for its mixed platters that allow diners to sample multiple cuisines in one meal, and their storytelling dining experiences where servers share historical anecdotes about the dishes and their origins. All preparations strictly avoid pork and alcohol, making it suitable for Muslim diners and others with dietary restrictions
