Chez Galip Hair Museum & Pottery Workshop

Chez Galip is one of Cappadocia's most famous pottery workshops, established by master potter Galip Körükçü in Avanos. This unique establishment is renowned not only for its traditional ceramics and pottery making but also for housing the world's most unusual hair museum, featuring locks of hair from over 16,000 women visitors from around the globe. The workshop continues the ancient tradition of Avanos pottery, using the distinctive red clay from the Kızılırmak River.
