Thian Hock Keng Temple

Thian Hock Keng Temple, literally meaning "Temple of Heavenly Happiness," holds the distinction of being Singapore's oldest Chinese temple and one of its most architecturally significant religious buildings. Built between 1839 and 1842 by the Hokkien community, the temple was constructed without using a single nail, following traditional Chinese architectural techniques.
